Our president Joanne Kwong spoke to NewsAsia about how Pearl River began as a way to integrate Chinese culture into the fabric of New York City, and how it continues to do so while at the same acting as a center for community, a point of pride for Asian Americans, and a space that represents New York.

"New York is just an example to the world where people co-habitate and work and create side by side," Joanne said. "They create amazing things because of each other, because of that interaction with each other."
