While Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month is about celebration, this year it's also about taking an unblinking look at the reality of being a small Asian-owned business in a pandemic and post-pandemic world, and the challenges businesses like Pearl River are facing, from economic devastation to the increase in anti-Asian attacks and violence.
