We’re currently seeking friendly and enthusiastic Retail Store Sales Associates and E-Commerce/Operations Associates for our TriBeCa and Chelsea Market locations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for retail, design, food, NYC, and of course, cool Asian stuff. Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, or Spanish language ability a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the store team to create exceptional customer experiences and deliver impeccable customer service
  • Act as a Pearl River brand ambassador
  • Work a varied schedule that can include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Stock and restock items as necessary
  • Service multiple customers at one time with courtesy and sincerity
  • Staff and manage regular and special events like tastings, demonstrations, performances and kids activities
  • Develop a sense of pride for our store and products by acquiring an extensive knowledge of our entire inventory
  • Refuse to accept anything less than an organized visually inspiring store
  • Ensure proper care is taken for all sales, paperwork, receipts and invoices, etc.
  • Promote brand and products according to latest direction from management/marketing
  • Other duties and assignments as required
Qualifications:
  • Prior job experience in a customer-facing, retail setting required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of and passion for Asian culture
  • Energetic and outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial and creative spirit, but also hard-working and detail-oriented
  • Availability to continue working through the fall
